The Jayfal Company is a small family business, located in Switzerland, established in 2010 by Mr. Angelo Lombardi and Mrs. Berta Lombardi, after a long experience in tannery and leather finishing production.
The company produces a wide range of products for leather care, all Made in Italy, based on the best Italian raw materials and with the highest quality standards.
The aim of Jayfal is to offer to our customers high quality products that allow them to have perfect leather over time. To do this, we have developed many different products such as waxes, balms and sprays for cleaning, moisturizing and protecting every type of shoe or accessorie made from leather or suede.
Jayfal Company is a small, independent company that produces products for the care and restoration of suede and leather. Although the company has grown to include additional employees, Jayfal is still based on family-run principles, with a focus on innovation, quality and customer service.

The History of Jayfal Company
The Jayfal story began all the way back in 1946 when Jean Manteau, a young man from Dordogne in South West France, arrived in Paris to pursue his dream of opening a shoe repair shop.
After years of hard work, Jean’s determination paid off and he was able to open a small shop on rue de Saint-Denis, just behind Les Halles market in Paris.
Jean’s wife Jeanne ran the shop while he worked as a shoemaker and they lived above the premises with their two daughters Monique and Nicole. The girls were very close growing up and spent much of their time together helping out at the shop after school.

While working with customers and developing new products we noticed that many customers were unaware of how to properly care for their leather products. Our goal with this blog is to educate our customers and help them maintain the quality of their goods.
The Jayfal company was founded in Paris in 1878 by two French leather artisans. In the 1920s, the company began to expand into other European countries, and during World War II it was the only leather care manufacturer in Europe and was producing leather items for the allied military forces.
After the war, the company expanded its reach even further, into Asia and Africa. But it wasn’t until 1970 that it successfully entered the American market. Since then, Jayfal has grown exponentially, becoming a global brand synonymous with quality leather and suede care.
The Jayfal Company was founded in 1996 by Jay & Fal. The company began as a small business, mainly producing shoe polish and spray protectors for leather and suede shoes. Some of their first products included a conditioner that keeps your shoes water resistant and a protector spray that repels water, salt, and oil.
Today, the Jayfal Company has grown to be one of the largest household care products companies in the world. They have expanded their product line to include leather and suede cleaners as well as sprays for all types of fabrics. The Jayfal Company also produces cleaning products for cars, furniture, clothing, and more!
The company’s headquarters are located in New York City with offices in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo and Hong Kong. Their motto is “Keeping Leather & Suede Looking New”.
