“Using the latest technology to organize a pantry” is a good tag line because it’s a little bit different and very descriptive. If you have any interest in organizing a pantry and you think you might use the internet to do it, then I’m going to assume that this blog is for you.
Description:I’ve been making some good progress on my pantry (if you want to see, check out this post). It was all moving along quite nicely until Marcia pointed out that I should probably write down where I put things so that I know where they are next time I need them. She also suggested that maybe I should share what I’m doing with others who might be interested in doing something similar.
And so here I am, writing about how to organize your pantry using the latest technology! This is the part of summer when bad things start to happen. People start vacations and then get sick when they come home from their vacations. Kids are out of school and are at home with no supervision which means no one is feeding them, watering them or keeping them from setting the house on fire. It’s also prime season for home invasions by raccoons, squirrels, and mice who will steal your food without even sharing it with their
Organizing your pantry so you can find what you are looking for is the best way to make sure the food in your pantry stays fresh. If your spices are organized, you will be able to find them easily and they will remain fresh longer.
Your pantry is your most used area in the kitchen, and it should be a place you can find what you need quickly. It should also be a place that doesn’t make you want to run screaming from the room.
Your pantry comes in all sizes and shapes but they all have one thing in common: they are dirty, disorganized and cluttered. The great news is, it’s not as hard to get it organized as you think, and I’m here to help!
My name is Marty, and I’m the brains behind Simplify Your Life With Technology. I am a big advocate of organizing your home with the latest technology because it makes life so much easier. In this article, I’ll share my best tips for organizing your pantry so that you can find what you’re looking for and make sure that food stays fresher longer.
Organizing your pantry requires some pre-planning. You need a system that works for you, and you need to know what’s in your pantry before you can start organizing it.
With the right system and the right inventory, finding what you are looking for is easy.
Step 1: Start with an inventory. Make a list of everything in your pantry. Include not only canned goods and boxed food items, but also small appliances, pots and pans, dishes, utensils and tablecloths, cleaning supplies and toiletries.
Step 2: Decide how you want to organize things. It’s easy to just throw everything into one big bin in the corner of the pantry, but this makes searching for items difficult. One effective way to organize is by placing smaller containers inside larger ones. For example, all baking supplies could be in one container on a shelf with other baking supplies on the next shelf down below it, followed by another container containing cooking oils on a shelf below that one. Other people prefer to create separate bins or baskets for specific categories of items; one container might hold canned goods while another contains spices.
This method makes it easy to see what you have without rummaging through every item in the pantry looking for
Organize your pantry. Find what you need. Save time and money.
Those are the promises of new kitchen gadgets like the Fling-It and the Clever Container, which hang on the door of your pantry and organize your food so you can find what you’re looking for.
But don’t be fooled by the marketing. You can do this yourself with a little planning and some old-fashioned shelving.
First, get rid of everything in your current pantry (or move it to a different closet). Then go through this checklist:
1. Identify everything you store in there, even if you only use it once a year. If it’s not on this list, it doesn’t belong in your pantry. Throw it out, donate it or move it to a different closet where less-frequently used items belong (like under the sink).
I have been feeling like my pantry is getting a little messy lately, so I have been thinking about ways to organize it. I have always had a hard time keeping it organized. It seems like such a hassle. I have tried many different things in the past, but I decided to try something new this time around.
The reason I keep having problems with organizing my pantry is because I don’t really use it that much and therefore it just gets really cluttered. The thing that I am currently using to keep my spices organized is called the Spice Rack from Self-Closing Cabinet Door Organizer . This spice rack has kept my spices organized for over six months now, which is longer than any other method of organization that I have used.
With the help of this spice rack, I can easily find the spices that I am looking for without having to search through all of them. It also keeps me from accidentally buying more than one bottle of a spice that I already have at home.
This Spice Rack works great for me because it holds a lot of different types and sizes of bottles as well as jars. The only downside to this spice rack is that it doesn’t come with any labels. That wasn’t a problem though because all of my bottles had labels
Fantastic remedies for getting organized. I’m a big fan of anything that makes my life easier, and this is definitely one of them!
