Gospel of Greece

Greek Seasoning is a blog about an amazing, beautiful country that is Greece. The blog offers unique travel guides and local insights for travellers that want to get away from the well-trodden tourist routes and experience the real Greece. We also provide useful tips on how to plan your trip and what to see, do, eat and drink in every corner of the country.

Greek Seasoning started as a personal travel diary in 2011. Having spent some time abroad I was eager to explore my country and share my impressions of it with others. The name is a pun on Greek cuisine: anyone who has tasted it knows that Greek food is known for its strong flavors, which come from the liberal use of herbs and spices (so much so that sometimes they can be hard to tolerate).

For five years we have been sharing our knowledge of Greece with thousands of readers that have visited our site. We are proud to say that our articles are among the most popular on the web. If you have any questions or comments, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Greetings in the name of the Lord,

My name is Peter and I am a Greek Orthodox Christian.

I live in Athens, Greece. I am a married man and we have a 7 year old daughter.

I am very interested in writing about my country, Greece. There are many things that make Greece so beautiful, so special and different from other countries. For example:

– Our history (the oldest in the world), our language (the oldest living language), our culture & cuisine (the most delicious in the world), our climate (the sunniest), our nature (the most beautiful) and of course our people (the best ever!).

Born and raised in Athens, Greece (the birthplace of democracy), I have always been interested in different cultures and the people who create them. While there are many things to love about the United States, I have always felt a strong connection to my culture and roots.

In an effort to learn more about the traditions of my family, I decided to get a degree in gastronomy from Le Cordon Bleu. The world is a fascinating place filled with so many wonderful people and cultures. My passion is to learn as much as I can about each and every one.

I believe strongly in the idea that food is a great equalizer; it brings people together, fosters mutual understanding and creates dialogue. When you bring people together over a delicious meal, they become open to new ideas and experiences.

My blog is dedicated to those who are interested in learning more about Greece’s rich history, culture, cuisine and traditions.

I started this blog in 2013, the day I got back from my first trip to Greece. I was overwhelmed by the beauty and culture of this country and wanted to share my experience with everyone.

I had traveled to Greece as a part of a study abroad program through my university. It was an amazing experience that I will never forget. We studied in Athens for four months and traveled around the country every weekend. I visited some of the most beautiful places on earth and met some incredible people.

Since then, I have been back to Greece three times (once for vacation, twice for work) and am planning to go again in April for 2 weeks. At some point, I hope to move there and live there permanently!

I love everything about Greek life, culture, food, music, and traditions!

Greece is a beautiful country with many places to visit and enjoy its beauty. There are numerous islands and cities to visit, but in order to get the most out of your trip, you should make sure that you do your research before you travel. Knowing what awaits you in Greece is important so that you can plan your trip accordingly and take in as much as possible. It is essential to know the important sites and where they are located so that you can make the most of your time when you get there.

In general, the climate in Greece is temperate although it varies depending on what region of the country you are visiting. During the summer months, many people travel throughout Greece taking advantage of the warm weather and beautiful beaches. However, traveling at this time can be expensive and crowded. If you are thinking about traveling to Greece during the summer, it is best to make reservations as far in advance as possible so that you can find a place to stay.

If you don’t mind not being able to enjoy the beaches or swimming in the sea during your trip, then visiting during spring or fall is recommended. The weather will still be warm enough for walking around during these months but not too hot that it becomes unbearable for those who cannot stand high temperatures.

I am the first to admit that I have never been to Greece. However, it’s an incredible place, full of history and culture. My goal with this blog is to inspire people to explore the world, especially Greece. For example, did you know that many Greek inventions are still in use today? The Greeks invented many modern day concepts such as democracy, philosophy, drama and even geometry!

A Greek salad is a summertime staple, featuring tomatoes, cucumbers, feta and olives. However, the dressing can make or break your salad – and I like to spice mine up a bit with fresh herbs from my garden.

This recipe for “Greek Seasoning” includes all the ingredients of a traditional Greek salad, plus lemon juice for tang and mint for freshness.

It’s perfect on salads (obviously), but it’s also great on chicken or pork.

If you’re looking for more summertime flavor, try my recipes for Grilled Corn Salad with Feta and Basil Vinaigrette or Grilled Potato Salad with Chive Pesto.
