Her selection of spices was varied, yet every time we opened one of those little jars it added that special zing that made it taste so good!

Today, I am going to share with you my top 5 spice box recipes so you can make the perfect night in:

1) The first recipe is a simple but very rich chocolate mousse. It is an all time favorite. You can use it as a dessert, or just have it for breakfast, it is that good!

2) Next up is a simple potato, leek and goats cheese soup. This one is creamy and so delicious. It is perfect for this time of the year.

3) I also have a great homemade pizza recipe for you. This is not your average pizza. It has caramelized onions, lots of cheese and fresh herbs on top and it takes no time to make at all! Use your own homemade dough or buy one from your local supermarket next time you notice “fresh dough” sign on the window display!

4) The fourth recipe is probably my all-time favorite dish ever! It’s French onion soup served with warm crusty bread and melted gruyere cheese on top. I must warn you though, this dish will make you cry! (tears of joy of course).

5) And last but not least I have an exotic Indonesian peanut sauce recipe for you: peanut satay sauce with coconut milk
