Top 5 Spices every kitchen should have

There are many spices that can add flavor and zest to a meal. While the number of spices out there is limitless, you don’t need a lot of spices to make a delicious, flavorful meal. Here are the 5 spices every kitchen should have.

1. Salt

2. Pepper

3. Garlic Powder

4. Onion Powder

5. Chili Powder

If you want to make delicious food, you need spices. Here’s a list of the top 5 must-have spices every kitchen should have:

1. Cinnamon – spicy!

2. Paprika – add color!

3. Salt – tastes great!

4. Pepper – spice it up!

5. Oregano – adds flavor!

A well-stocked pantry is the key to cooking up delicious recipes. But, while you may have all the basics (think oil, eggs, salt and pepper), there are a few other must-have spices that will add a bit of zing to your dishes—and make you look like a professional chef in the process. Here are my top five spices every kitchen should have:

1) Salt: While salt may not seem like a spice, it’s still one of the most important ingredients in any good meal. Here’s what you need to know:

To start, there are two types of salt: iodized table salt and kosher salt. Table salt is typically more refined and has smaller grains while kosher salt has larger, more flaky grains and less iodine than table salt. The main difference between them is their taste. Kosher salt tends to have a cleaner taste while table salt tends to be more bitter tasting. Which one is better? It’s really just a matter of personal preference. But if you’re really serious about cooking, I’d suggest using kosher salt for cooking and finishing dishes with table salt for added flavor (more on this in a bit).

2) Black Pepper: Black pepper is another essential ingredient that can transform an ordinary dish

The kitchen is an incredibly important part of the house. From preparing foods to cleaning dishes, the kitchen is one of the most used rooms in the house. As busy as it gets, there are tools that make cooking and cleaning easier, such as spices. Spices add flavor and texture to any meal, and can make even the simplest meals seem like they were made by a professional chef. Here are five spices every kitchen should have:

1) Salt

2) Pepper

3) Oregano

4) Cayenne

5) Garlic Powder

My list for the top 5 spices used in every kitchen is based off of many different things. I used my own personal experience when cooking, what spices I use the most and I also looked at some other peoples lists that i found online. Here is my list:

1. Salt

2. Black pepper

3. Garlic Powder

4. Oregano

5. Paprika

Everyone has their own list of ingredients that they think are essential to have in the kitchen. While a lot of people’s lists depend on their cooking style and cuisine preferences, there are some spices that people should have in their kitchens regardless of what food they make.

cumin

Cumin is great for adding a bit of heat to your dishes, and it also adds a great crunch. It can be added to any dish that needs a little kick, and is commonly used in Mexican and Indian cuisine. The best thing about cumin is that it goes well with other spices, such as cinnamon or coriander.
