Sweet Paprika’s Test Kitchen

Sweet Paprika’s Test Kitchen: a blog where our chefs post some culinary creations that we have whipped up.

We have a really great team of people who come to work everyday and put their minds together to create fun, new, and exciting menu items.

Three years ago, I decided to open up a section of our menu called “Chef’s Specials.” We would feature one special item each week that was created by one of our chefs.

It is so much fun. Every week, we get to try something new and unique. We do not always love everything we try, but the chefs are always excited about what they make!

Our favorite dishes become part of our regular menu and become customer favorites. Some of the more popular items on our current menu started out as Chef’s Specials.

Sweet Paprika’s Test Kitchen is a blog where our chefs post some culinary creations that we have whipped up. These recipes will showcase our products and hopefully inspire you to try something new or different. We have been busy in the kitchen lately and have come up with a few new recipes that are sure to be crowd pleasers. We have a great summer recipe, Blackberry Limeade and a delicious fall recipe, Pumpkin Soufflé.

We hope you will check out Sweet Paprika’s Test Kitchen, try the recipes, and let us know what you think!

Our chefs have created a menu that is our own interpretation of traditional American and Italian dishes. We strive to use only the freshest ingredients in all of our recipes, including those that we make ourselves. We only use whole milk mozzarella for our pizzas, hand-cut our fries, and make our own sauces from scratch. All of our pizza dough is made daily in-house, and we take pride in offering a variety of pizzas on thick, thin, and gluten free crusts.

In addition to fresh food and great pizza, Sweet Paprika offers craft beers on tap, an extensive wine list, cocktails, and full bar. Our staff has been trained to pair these drinks with any meal so you can enjoy your favorite beverage any time at Sweet Paprika!

1. In a medium bowl, combine the first 6 ingredients; make a well in the center of mixture. Combine milk and next 6 ingredients; add to flour mixture, stirring just until moistened. Spread batter into 2 greased 8-inch square baking pans. Sprinkle with cheese and green onions.

2. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack 10 minutes; remove from pans, and cut each cake into 16 squares. Serve warm.
