How to Make Shrimp Biryani

Shrimp Biryani is a popular Indian dish and one of the many variations of Biryani. The spices we use in this recipe are coriander, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaves, cumin seeds and turmeric powder.

We start off with a cup of Basmati rice that has been soaked for at least 20 minutes. Then add oil to a heated pan and add in the spices until they become fragrant.

½ cup plain yogurt (I use whole milk)

6. Rinse rice thoroughly drain and set aside

8. For cooking in a pressure cooker: Bring 1 cup of water
