- Sauce: 4 tablespoons vegetable oil (canola or olive)
- 2 large tomatoes,

- 3 small green chilies (fresh)
How to cook chicken tikka masala
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, garlic, and ginger
- Roast the chicken on a grill or stovetop for 10-15 minutes
- Chop tomatoes and onions
- In a large pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat then add chopped onion and green chilies; sauté until browned
- Add tomato to the pan with salt and sugar (if desired) to taste; cook for about 8-10 minutes until tomatoes have softened slightly but still hold their shape
- Add roasted chicken pieces and stir well to combine all the ingredients together before serving with rice or naan bread.
