Halloween is one of the most important days of the year for retailers. According to a recent survey, consumers are expected to spend $6.9 billion on Halloween-related items this year. That’s up from $6.3 billion last year and shows no signs of slowing down.

In a Halloween market that’s bigger than ever, it can be harder than ever to find a costume that doesn’t make you look like a clown. And when you do find one, you might have to spend a lot more money on it than you want or expected. But there are ways to save money on buying costumes, as well as ways to make your own costumes so you don’t have to buy one at all!

Halloween is a time for scaring people, and what better way to accomplish this than by dressing up as something terrifying? Unfortunately, the costume industry is dominated by the same type of people who design the clothes you see on your local news anchors.

Terrifying costumes are few and far between, so we here at i09 have put together a list of scary costumes that don’t make you look like a clown. These are costumes that will actually scare people because 1.) they look good and 2.) they’re based on something real. No more 8-foot tall guy with an Afro, no more giant green monster with horns – just good, solid horror.*

There is no right way to do makeup for a costume. Some people can look good in just about anything, while others will only pull off a certain type of appearance.

Some costumes are great for women who want to look sexy, while others should be worn by those who just want to have fun. Some costumes are meant to be funny, and some are made to make you look like a cartoon character.

What one wears depends on the particular costume and what sort of person one is. You don’t have to follow any rules when it comes to Halloween makeup; simply wear what makes you feel most comfortable.

If you have never done your own Halloween makeup before, these tips will help you get started in the process of creating your own look.

Scary and funny costumes are not always the same thing. When I put on a scary costume, I look like a clown that’s trying real hard to be scary. But you can get some pretty creepy looks by making the opposite choices: by looking like something that’s actually scary, but doing it in a funny way.

Treating your costume as if it’s supposed to be funny is probably more realistic than treating it as if it’s supposed to be scary. If you’re going for funny, you don’t need to worry about what your body language says, or whether your expression is too neutral; in fact, you should probably do the opposite. A funny costume should have an expressive face and a pose that really sells the character.

Halloween is here again. And even though it’s the time of year when we get to dress up and act like someone else, there are some people who just go too far with it.

Telling them they look ridiculous is only going to make things worse, so here are some tips on how to deal with the 9 most annoying costumes you can come across this Halloween.

Halloween has become a big business in America. People spend huge amounts of money on their costumes, decorations, and parties. It is estimated that over $8 billion will be spent on Halloween this year alone. This is a holiday where most people are more worried about how much they’re spending than about what they’re going to look like.

Thing is, it doesn’t necessarily take a lot of money to have a great Halloween costume. You can spend as little as $10 and still have an awesome costume. All you need to do is use your imagination. Here are some examples of very creative costumes that don’t cost much at all.*

The key to creating a great costume for cheap is to not be ashamed of buying something used or at a thrift shop. You can get some great stuff there! Thrift stores are also great for finding cheap accessories such as wigs, shoes, props, glasses, and jewelry.*

There are several of you who have requested costume ideas, so I will try to post them as soon as I get a chance! This is just the start of the many costume ideas I have.

I will do my best to make sure that these costumes are done in a way that will be safe and not too expensive.
